Ramadan Reflections: An Evening of Community, Learning and Service

The American Medical Muslim Student Association (AMMSA) at NEOMED, in collaboration with the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS), warmly invites the entire NEOMED community—including students, faculty, staff and administration—to join us for Ramadan Reflections, a charity dinner dedicated to community, cultural appreciation and connection.

This evening will bring our community together for a shared Iftar experience while supporting mobile health clinics in Syria that provide essential medical care to underserved communities.

Event Details

The evening will feature a shared Iftar meal, authentic Arabic cuisine, and a healthcare panel of physicians, pharmacists and dentists discussing the intersection of faith and medicine. Guests can also enjoy henna, interactive activities, raffles with prizes and a variety of engaging cultural experiences throughout the night.

Cultural attire is warmly encouraged, though not required.

Whether you observe Ramadan, are interested in learning more about the role of faith in healthcare, or simply wish to support a meaningful humanitarian cause, all are welcome. We warmly encourage you to bring your friends and family to share in this meaningful and festive evening together.
