REDIzone to be focus of Ohio Inventor’s Showcase
The Research, Entrepreneurship Discovery and Innovation Zone (REDIzone®) will be spotlighted in an Ohio Inventor’s Showcase hosted by the Ohio Innovation Exchange.
The showcase will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, via Zoom. It will feature updates on the REDIzone, NEOMED’s life sciences business incubator, and profile accomplished researchers, entrepreneurs and inventors.
The virtual event includes:
- Welcome remarks from Rebecca German, Ph.D., vice president for Research at NEOMED; University Hospitals-NEOMED Faculty Scholar; and professor of Anatomy and Neurobiology.
- Jordan Walker, entrepreneurial program manager, REDIzone.
- Fayez Safadi, Ph.D., director of NEOvations Bench-to-Bedside Medical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program, professor of Anatomy and Neurobiology, and chief scientific officer at GPN Therapeutics, Inc.
- Vahagn Ohanyan, M.D., Ph.D., associate professor, Department of Integrative Medical Sciences, and president of Ohan Cardiovascular Innovations Corp.
