Reminder Regarding NIH Submissions: Commons ID Required for All Senior/Key Personnel

Effective mid-January, proposal submissions involving senior/key personnel, which also includes other significant contributors, will be required to have an NIH Commons ID. Failure to provide or have this ID included in the submission will prevent a successful submission. NEOMED personnel without an existing or active Commons ID, will need to request one through ORSP. External collaborators without an ID will need to request this ID through their primary institution.

Previously, submissions without an active Commons ID received a warning upon proposal validation. Beginning mid-January, senior/key persons without a Commons ID, will result in an error and prevent proposal submission.
