Retirement Reception for LuAnne Stockton

After more than 30 years of dedicated service, LuAnne Stockton, curriculum coordinator II in the College of Medicine, is retiring from NEOMED.

The College of Medicine Office of Medical Education invites the campus community to join a retirement celebration to honor LuAnne from 1-2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28, in G-204.

LuAnne has seen the campus and educational programs grow throughout the years, having started as a patient recruiter for NEOUCOM in 1990. During the last three-plus decades, she has held numerous roles in medical education, including curriculum coordinator, specialist and manager. Colleague Vanessa Painter states, “LuAnne has been such a vital part of the Curriculum Operations team through so much change -- her knowledge will certainly be hard to replace. I’ve enjoyed working with her and we will miss her!”

LuAnne’s expertise in the curriculum has been evident during her NEOMED career, leading her to collaborate on numerous papers and presentations with NEOMED faculty along with providing faculty development for various courses and serving as a seminar leader. In 2006, she was recipient of the Community Service Award.

Please join us as we celebrate LuAnne’s career and wish her well on her next chapter.
