Rita Horwitz, R.N., the President and CEO of Better Health Partnership, will wrap up the second season of NEOMED’s VITALS speaker series at noon Thursday, May 5, with a webinar titled “Accelerating Lasting Health Value through Trusted Collaboration.”
Better Health Partnership is a regional health improvement collaborative in Northeast Ohio.
Horwitz, who earned an R.N. from The Ohio State University School of Nursing and graduated from Case Western Reserve University’s Health Care Executive Management program, joined Better Health in 2011 as its director of business development.
The monthly VITALS speaker series features a diverse range of innovative leaders in the medical sector. Each speaker has 17 minutes ― the same length of time of the average physician-patient visit — to offer disruptive solutions to health care’s biggest problems. Approaches may cover any of the six components of VITALS: Value-based, Innovation, Technology, Advocacy, Leadership and Service. The speaker then engages in discourse with attendees for the remainder of the hour, guided by a moderator.
Following a summer hiatus, VITALS will return in Fall 2022.
