Scholarship Opportunity - College of Medicine

The NEOMED Office of Financial Aid is excited to announce that the application cycle for the American Medical Association (AMA) Foundation's 2026 Physicians of Tomorrow scholarship is now open! The deadline to apply is Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CST.

With 17 categories across a variety of focus areas, the AMA Foundation awards $10,000 tuition scholarships to medical students each year.

Eligibility requirements are as follows:

• Rising final-year medical student graduating in 2027.
• Most applicants are in their third year during the application cycle. if awarded, funds are distributed in spring 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year
• Students in five-year or dual-degree programs, or those taking a research year, may apply either in their third year or prior to their final year.
• Enrolled in a fully accredited U.S. allopathic (MD) or osteopathic (DO) medical school
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident or DACA status
