Scott Becker, J.D., founder and publisher of Becker’s Healthcare, joins us for the next VITALS | Visionary Health Leadership in Action at noon Thursday, Oct. 10, via Zoom.

About Scott Becker
Scott Becker, J.D., is an entrepreneur, investor and legal professional who has built a career at the intersection of health care, media and law. As the founder and publisher of Becker’s Healthcare, a leading health care media company, and a longtime partner at McGuireWoods, a top AmLaw firm, Becker has established himself as an authority in his field.
With a mission to provide valuable insights and strategies for entrepreneurs and business leaders, Becker draws upon his extensive experience to help others navigate the complexities of building and scaling successful ventures. His expertise spans across various industries, including health care, private equity and venture capital, where he has made significant investments and contributes as an active investor.
Becker’s accomplishments are numerous and noteworthy. He graduated from Harvard Law School and the University of Illinois, where he obtained his J.D. and B.S. in finance and accounting, respectively. At Harvard, he had the privilege of teaching and advising future President Barack Obama as a moot court advisor. He is also the author of several books, including Health Care Law: A Practical Guide, The Physician’s Managed Care Success Manual, The ASC Handbook and The Entrepreneur’s Edge. He hosts two highly ranked podcasts, Becker’s Healthcare Podcast and Becker Private Equity and Business Podcast. He has interviewed prominent figures such as George and Laura Bush, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Nikki Haley, and Michael Strahan via Becker’s Healthcare conferences.
Becker currently resides in the Chicago suburbs, Palm Beach Gardens and Deer Valley. When he’s not working on his business endeavors, he can be found pursuing his passions for golf, tennis, fitness, skiing, writing and speaking.
