• Responsibilities include assisting with scientific experiments (specifically with surgical procedures, tissue processing and immunohistochemistry) and writing, training new students, assisting in design and troubleshooting of experiments, analyze data and basic laboratory management under general supervision.

Title: Research Associate (Schofield)

Dept: Anatomy & Neurobiology

• Laboratory investigates brain circuitry associated with hearing. Responsibilities include: contributing to planning of experimental strategy, working independently in the collection and analysis of data, initiating and developing methodologies for research projects, histological processing, management of laboratory animal use, training new laboratory personnel, overseeing laboratory management and records.
