Executive Director, Center for Teaching Excellence
Dept: Office of the Vice President
- The Executive Director, Center for Teaching Excellence, is responsible for intentional partnerships to advance student success through teaching excellence and continuous institutional assessment and improvement.
This position provides leadership and support for faculty development, advancing new initiatives to promote effective student learning outcomes, and creating a culture of teaching excellence. Reporting to the Provost, this position collaborates with senior academic leaders to build a supportive faculty mentoring network and to develop innovative strategies for developing and evaluating teaching effectiveness. The position executes the Provost’s mission, values and norms in alignment with NEOMED’s strategic initiatives and commitment to faculty growth, performance and excellence in support of student success.
Assistant Director, Credentialing
Dept: Office of Student Services
- The Assistant Director (AD) of Credentialing is responsible for the efficient, effective, and centralized process of ensuring student credential opportunities, verification, compliance and remediation for all NEOMED students. Participates in the development and implementation of credentialing processes and procedures; oversees the Credentialing Review Committee responsible for approving and implementing all student credentials; and interfaces with the colleges to ensure that appropriate credential opportunities are provided, and compliance is met for students to meet the eligibility requirements for any academic and clinical opportunities and that accreditation and college requirements are met.
Director, Student Support and Enrichment
Dept: College of Medicine
- The Director of Student Support and Enrichment will coordinate and implement efforts to support at-risk students and special populations. The director will serve as a conductor, coordinating and leveraging the resources of key school constituencies and programs to assist with retention efforts to ensure that the College of Medicine meets expectations.
