Student Guido Shero appointed to NEOMED Board of Trustees

Congratulations to Guido Shero, who joins the NEOMED Board of Trustees as a student member. The rising second-year medical student was appointed by Gov. Mike DeWine to a two-year term beginning June 30, 2025, and ending June 29, 2027.

The Medina resident is Ohio-educated, earning his high school diploma from St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, his bachelor’s degree from the Ohio State University and his law degree from Cleveland State University.

After obtaining his J.D., Shero entered the Marine Corps. He flew F18s in the military. He was injured in the aircraft and physicians help put him back together.

“They provided the spark that gave me the passion to pursue medicine,” Shero shared during his white coat ceremony.
