The mission of the Collegiate Mental Health Advisory of Ohio is to prevent, spread awareness of, and provide support for mental health symptoms, mental health crises, and suicide prevention within the college student population of Ohio. The groups aims to achieve this through communication and collaboration with college student populations to understand better what mental health challenges they are uniquely facing. In partnership with the OPCSMH, the advisory group aims to distribute relevant mental health resources across Ohio to this population, encourage them to share their knowledge to advocate for mental wellness, and raise awareness about their campus community's unique mental health needs.
