Student Organization Fair includes several newly formed groups
First-year students from across the University found myriad ways to be involved on campus at the annual Student Organization Fair.
Nearly 70 organizations, including campus councils and committees as well as the Office of Student Services, hosted tables at the organization fair.

Among the organizations are several newly formed groups:
- Jewish Student Association - a warm and welcoming outlet for both Jewish students and anyone else at NEOMED seeking a community in which they can simultaneously grow in their careers and spiritual life without judgment from others.
- NEOMED Chess Club – a group dedicated to increasing interest in chess on campus and providing a mentally active hobby outside of school that encourages both collaboration and friendly competition.
- Arab-American Student Organization – a group connecting medical students who share Middle Eastern and North African roots, while also educating others of Arabic culture through food, dance and ideas.
- Italian Medical Association of America – a group connecting students who share Italian heritage, as well as teaching those who have an interest in the Italian culture.
- NEOMED Ski Club – a club promoting student recreation, social connection and physical health through skiing and snowboarding.
- NEOMED Alliance for Disability Inclusion and Advocacy – a group promoting disability health initiatives for patients with chronic conditions, providing a platform for health care professionals with disabilities, advocating for further incorporation of disability into the medical curriculum, and uplifting students with disabilities through community building and outreach.
- NEOMED Tennis Club – a group helping students, with or without a tennis background, to connect and network with peers from different cohorts and colleges while playing tennis.
- First-Generation Medical Professionals – a group helping first-gen students receive guidance from first-generation residents, physicians and pharmacists through mentorship, shadowing opportunities, speaker events, research opportunities, and community engagement opportunities.
