Student Presents at National Dermatology Meeting

The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting is a scholarly event that brings together thousands of attending physicians, resident physicians, and medical students from around the country to share the latest advances in dermatology.

This year's event was held in Boston, marking the first time the event was held in person since the pandemic began. College of Medicine student Paayal Vora gave an oral presentation titled, "Diagnosis of Metaplastic Synovial Cysts in Clinical Dermatology." She spoke about this rare condition and detailed the characteristic clinical and dermatopathology findings that help with diagnosis.

Speaking about the experience, she shared, "It was wonderful to meet and learn from so many great minds from around the country! I also felt very lucky to have the opportunity to share my own research with others."
