Student Trinity Kronk appointed to NEOMED Board of Trustees
Congratulations to Trinity A. Kronk, who joins the NEOMED Board of Trustees as a student member. The M.D./Ph.D. student was appointed by Gov. Mike DeWine to a two-year term that runs Dec. 19, 2024, to June 29, 2026.
Kronk is deeply committed to leadership, service and academic excellence, actively shaping student life at NEOMED. With a strong foundation from her undergraduate degree at Emory University, she has cultivated a passion for research and leadership, exemplified by her roles as founder of the Journal of Medical Sciences at NEOMED, founder and co-president of the Dual Degree Society, past co-president of NEOvations Bench to Bedside and current member of the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society Mentoring and Professional Development Committee.
Trinity has published numerous papers and presented several abstracts focusing on skeletal and bone diseases, contributing significantly to the field through her research and academic presentations. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, she is committed to community service and mentoring. She has volunteered as an assistant instructor at GiGi’s Playhouse in Lakewood, Ohio, helping children and adults with Down syndrome engage in fitness and wellness activities. She is actively involved in medical innovation, and has led multiple I-Corps teams to develop orthopaedic medical technologies and is a co-inventor of a provisional patent for a minimally invasive orthopaedic device. She is also an avid yoga practitioner, hiker and dancer, embracing wellness and creativity in her daily life.
Trinity Kronk’s leadership and service experiences reflect her dedication to both her academic community and the broader society, constantly striving to make a positive impact wherever she is.
