Students in Medical Cannabis Pharmacology Course Visit Cultivator

Students in a new medical cannabis pharmacology class taught by Christine Dengler-Crish, Ph.D., recently visited Buckeye Relief, a medical cannabis cultivator and producer in Eastlake, Ohio.

“As future pharmacists and researchers, they will be able to evaluate the benefits and limitations of using medical cannabis to treat specific patient conditions,” says Dr. Dengler-Crish. “This is important for our future health care workforce because the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program is now operating in its third year and the number of patients eligible to use medical cannabis is steadily increasing.”
