The College of Medicine wishes Janet Holliday well on her retirement

After more than 10 years of service in the College of Medicine, Janet Holliday, Ph.D., assistant dean of curriculum, will retire on Jan. 31.

During Dr. Holliday’s time here, she has shown a passion for helping our students succeed through her use and analysis of student assessment and curricular data. Dr. Holliday began her career in the College as a faculty member in 2013 teaching histology and anatomy to first-year students. She subsequently applied for her most recent role as assistant dean of curriculum, where she co-led a Personal and Professional Development course and led the data analysis for the medical education program.

She has led the M1-M2 Academic Success Team initiated in 2021 to support student success in the curriculum and on CBSE and Step 1. Dr. Holliday has been instrumental in helping College of Medicine faculty and curriculum committees to improve curricular programs and enhance student academic support.

Upon retirement, Dr. Holliday is planning a trip to the Galapagos Islands.

We wish her nothing but the best!
