The Health & Well-Being Coaching Certificate Program at NEOMED has been granted NBHWC Approved Program status!

The Health and Well-Being Coaching Certificate Program at NEOMED has been granted NBHWC (The National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching) Approved Program status. Receiving NBHWC Program Approval allows graduates of our program to be eligible to sit for the NBHWC HWC Certifying Examination.

NBHWC is overseen by a board of directors and supported by committees composed of volunteers and staff members who seek to advance the profession of health and wellness coaching. NBHWC is accelerating the professionalization of the field of health and wellness coaching and has collaborated with the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) since 2016 to provide a robust board certification examination which has led to more than 8,400 National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coaches that hold the NBC-HWC credential. The esteemed NBC-HWC credential represents training, education, and assessment standards, allowing the profession to advance in all aspects of health care and wellness. The board exam is based on extensive research and countless hours of work by the top professionals in the industry. Check out more information here: https://nbhwc.org/.

The Health & Well-Being Coaching Certificate Program at NEOMED is excited to launch our program to University Hospitals employees in March 2024.
