The library welcomes new Scholarly Communications Librarian Stephanie Gaskins!

The NEOMED Library would like to welcome our newest staff member, Stephanie Gaskins, to our team. Stephanie is our Scholarly Communications and Reference Librarian. She will be responsible for the implementation and management of the NEOMED scholarly communications initiative, including copyright instruction and support. She will also be providing reference services to faculty, research assistance and instruction, and information literacy education to the campus community.  

Stephanie brings a wealth of experience to our campus, with over thirteen years of experience in Academic Librarianship. She most recently served as the Manager of Course Reserves at Kent State University Library, where she worked to integrate over 8,000 resources on Canvas, provided textbook access, and supported faculty across 65 departments and seven regional campuses. She holds a Masters degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University and a certificate in Copyright through Harvard Law School/CopyrightX.
