The Strategy Office invites you to Monday's University Update

The Strategy Office invites you to join us for the next University Update at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, in Watanakunakorn Auditorium.

Following Dr. Langell’s remarks, faculty, staff and students will share observations and stories about our success in driving NEOMED’s mission and creating transformational leaders.

Executive Education

Jordan Cinderich, director of operational excellence, oversees our Lean Six Sigma and Employee Empowered Excellence programs and provides oversight for the development of NEOMED Executive Education. He will introduce Executive Education to the campus and talk about the future of this program.

NEOMED Connect

David Vitatoe, senior director of alumni relations, will talk about alumni engagement activities and highlight NEOMED Connect, the new service platform connecting students and health care professionals in the spirit of mentorship.

COM Faculty Appointment LSSGB Project Improvement

Dr. Giselle Hamad, professor of surgery and associate dean of Clinical Faculty Affairs in the College of Medicine, will share the incredible work she has done reducing the lead time of the COM Faculty Appointment Process as part of her Green Belt project.

The Journal of Medical Science

College of Medicine students Thomas Cahill and Samantha Hardy will share changes the Journal of Medical Sciences, NEOMED’s online, student-led and peer-reviewed scholarly journal, is undergoing, including leadership, implementation of an open journal system, acknowledgment of donor and university support, statistics and membership and a review of journal workflow.
