Alumna installed as president-elect of Ohio Pharmacists Association

NEOMED alumna Dana M. Wilkerson, R.Ph., Pharm.D. (’16), BCACP, was installed as president-elect of the Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) at the group’s 146th Annual Conference in April.

Dr. Wilkerson is the specialty pharmacy manager at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. After earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from NEOMED in 2016, she completed a combined postgraduate year one (PGY1) Community-based Pharmacy Practice and PGY2 Community-based Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency program with the Ohio State University and the Kroger Co.

Dr. Wilkerson has served as vice president of OPA, was chair of OPA’s Membership Services and Development Committee, and is a member of the Legal and Regulatory and Practice Advancement and Innovation Committees. She was awarded OPA UNDER 40 recognition in 2022.
