Translational Science Week event will explore opportunities in biomedical research

As part of the Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative (CTSC) of Northern Ohio, NEOMED will host a luncheon during Translational Science Week 2025.

On Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m., NEOMED will hold a luncheon in the Regula Training Room to discuss the current landscape of biomedical research and opportunities through the CTSC of Northern Ohio. It is also a chance to tour the University Hospitals mobile research unit and learn more about its capabilities. 

Luncheon Agenda

  • 11-11:15 a.m. — Lunch is available
  • 11:15-11:30 a.m. — Rebecca German, Ph.D., vice president of research, will talk about the changing landscape in biomedical research.
  • 11:30 a.m.-noon — Jerry Tribout, CTSC research participant recruitment manager, and Roberto Alers-Velazquez, Ph.D., CTSC senior scientific editor, will discuss CTSC opportunities for NEOMED participation and collaboration.
  • Noon-12:30 p.m. — NEOMED panel will discuss our current contributions and experiences working with the CTSC.
  • 12:30-1 p.m. — Tours of the University Hospitals mobile research unit.
