UH–NEOMED symposium to highlight advances in neurodegenerative disease and aging research
NEOMED, in collaboration with University Hospitals, will host the Neurodegenerative Disease and Aging Symposium on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Cook Alumni Hall in the NEW Center.
This symposium will bring together faculty, researchers, clinicians and students to explore emerging research and collaborative efforts focused on age-related neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases.
The program will feature research presentations from UH–NEOMED investigators examining early risk identification, disease mechanisms and neurological impacts of injury. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with innovative research, learn from interdisciplinary teams, and connect with colleagues advancing discovery and care in this critical area. The event is open to NEOMED students, faculty and staff.
