Unsung Heroes: Kara Bloom

Kara Bloom, program coordinator for Project ECHO, is passionate about diversity equity and inclusion. She has made it her personal mission to provide a more inclusive experience at NEOMED for staff, employees and partners. She is currently working on an initiative with Human Resources to display the LGBTQ+ flag on campus and to create an area that proudly displays gender diversity, identity and orientation. She consistently includes LGBTQ+ awareness posts in our social media for Project ECHO at NEOMED. Kara undoubtedly is improving the student experience and supporting the mission through her inclusion and experience efforts.
