I would like to nominate Colleen Duchon, the new research librarian, and Jennifer Rice, electronic resources librarian, as Unsung Heroes of NEOMED for suggesting exercise equipment in the library.
There are now exercise/stability balls to use while you sit and study, or mini-bike pedals for under the desk.
I heard (through the grapevine) that the students in particular LOVE the stability balls. What a great fit for a group of students who are dedicating their lives to health – and a way to incorporate exercise within their own busy days!
