Unsung Heroes: James Moore and Jordan Cinderich

I would like to nominate Jordan Cinderich, M.Ed., LSSBB, process engineer, and James Moore, multimedia specialist/technician, for helping “up the tech game” in the College of Medicine.

Recently, James showed us how to use a feature in Zoom to take attendance automatically – which will save time with evening advising webinars. He even followed up with a step-by-step how-to guide for reference.

Jordan showed some of us the concept of “mail merge” in Excel – and even talked about using AI resources to look up how to do specific tasks in Excel. It was a great round table discussion – and I learned how AI can be used (vs. YouTube or Google search) to find more specific answers to questions.

It’s always a good thing to have co-workers with strong technical skills.
