I would like to recommend Jan McCourtie in the College of Medicine for recognition as an unsung hero. In her role as an administrative coordinator in the Office of the Dean, she is the first face visitors, students, staff and faculty see on arrival. Her dedication to the College and its students is seen through her continued willingness to help with any project, issue or concern.
I have never once seen Jan without a smile on her face and a welcoming comment. Jan is a key member of our team, demonstrated by the amount of work she does behind the scenes to keep our office running smoothly.
