Unsung Heroes: Jennifer Lint

Jennifer Lint, the College of Medicine’s director of administration and communications, recently received back-to-back nominations as an unsung hero of NEOMED!

I would like to nominate Jennifer Lint, in the College of Medicine, as an unsung hero. The College has several vacant positions and a recent retirement in the Dean’s office, Jen has ensured that the Office continues to run smoothly despite being short staffed. She is the most conscientious colleague, and without fail she puts the needs of the College and her team first. No matter how big or small the task, Jen is always willing to lend a hand, and fortunately for all of us, she has a fantastic memory that we rely on frequently! We are so fortunate to have Jen as a member of our team, and she is very deserving of recognition as an unsung hero.

I would like to nominate Jennifer Lint as an unsung hero. After the departure of a key administrative person in the Dean’s office in the College of Medicine, Jennifer stepped in to seamlessly manage additional responsibilities over and above her typical job duties. She maintains a calm and professional demeanor and represents the College to both University and outside stakeholders in a positive and professional way. She has made herself available after hours and on weekends to address urgent needs. She also has stepped in to lead the searches for replacements for two employees who departed nearly simultaneously. I cannot imagine getting through the last month without her capable assistance.

-- Submitted Eugene M. Mowad, M.D., FAAP, interim dean, College of Medicine, clinical professor of pediatrics
