Unsung heroes: Julia Colecchi

I would like to recognize Julia Colecchi, integrated marketing strategist in MarCom, as an unsung hero.

Recently, COM Student Affairs had to make a few edits to our webpages to include information on staffing updates and the launch of our new academic and career advising program. When I contacted Julia to see if she would be able to help assist with these website edits, she immediately scheduled a time for us to meet. She was extremely accommodating to all my requests and even took the time to create a separate Student Leaders webpage which lists all the COM specific councils and committees – including the names for all student representatives so students can refer directly to the site if they need to get in contact with a peer representative. She is extremely thorough with her work and remained patient with me throughout the entire process, as I had a lot of updates and questions!

I know most people mainly know Julia as the social media guru here at NEOMED, but she is way more than that. She is kind, personable and ALWAYS willing to provide a helpful hand even when the tasks being asked of her are sometimes outside of her normal job responsibilities.
