Unsung heroes: Nancy Woolverton
I’d like to nominate unsung hero Nancy Woolverton, M.A., curriculum coordinator, Department of Medical Education, College of Medicine.
As our curriculum coordinator in Patient, Physician and Community III, IV, V, Nancy consistently communicates in a very timely way with our stakeholders. They are our second-year medicine students, clinical site coordinators, site directors, clinical faculty leaders, physical diagnosis laboratory instructors, course directors, Wasson Simulation Center staff and academic services team.
These are at least 250 people who can reach out to her any time, and she will surely assist you or find the person who will. Not to mention her hard work in organizing and re-organizing CANVAS to respond to students' feedback.
All these, she does with joy, kindness and respect.
She is our hero!
