Vaccine billing issue resolved
NEOvations Pharmacy Services has been able to resolve the issue of bills being incorrectly sent to patients with SummaCare insurance for this year’s COVID-19 vaccine. SummaCare has determined an internal configuration for the COVID-19 vaccine led to the cost being applied to each patient’s deductible versus being covered completely as a preventative vaccine. SummaCare is currently running reports to identify claims that need to be corrected and will make the appropriate adjustment.
