Pharmacy students: Nominate candidates for Walgreens diversity excellence award

Nominations are being accepted for the Walgreens Diversity and Inclusion Excellence Award.

The Walgreens Diversity and Inclusion Excellence Award recognizes an underrepresented minority student from the College of Pharmacy who promotes and supports the needs, values and respect of underrepresented communities and who is sensitive to the issues of diversity and takes action to promote the ideals of inclusion, equity and community. Candidates for this award must be enrolled in any year in the College of Pharmacy and must identify as African/African American/Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Indigenous American/Alaskan Native or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander only.

The recipient of this award will receive a financial award of $2,500 sponsored by Walgreens and will be presented at the spring Multicultural Festival.

Self-nominations are permitted. If you are self-nominating, you will not be asked to provide a recommendation at the end of this form. But for your self-nomination to be considered, someone other than you must submit a nomination using this same form. You can share the link with them.

Deadline for nominations is Friday, Nov. 24.
