Welcome, Matthew Pfeiffer, Ph.D., new data specialist in the Office of Institutional Research
We are excited to share that Dr. Matt Pfeiffer recently joined the Office of Institutional Research team to serve as our new Data Specialist.
Matt joins us from Kent State University where he earned both his Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in Sociology and has worked over the past 11+ years in various capacities, including Director of Operations for a research lab, Program Evaluation Specialist for Kent’s Survey Research Lab, and as an Adjunct Faculty Member (teaching courses related to statistics, data analysis, research methods, and MS Excel).
Over time and in conjunction with Senior Data Specialist Diane Beeman, Matt will oversee portions of our course and instructor evaluation process, serve as another wonderful go-to contact for Qualtrics and electronic survey-related matters, help enforce our administration of surveys policy, assist with various internal and external reporting efforts, partner with data owners/stakeholders across campus to work on university-level data visualization/dashboard projects, assist with various data governance, management, quality and literacy-related efforts, and help our office continue to engage in continuous quality improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
Please join our team in welcoming Matt to the NEOMED community! Feel free to swing by the A-106 Suite to say hi or email Matt at mpfeiffer1@neomed.edu.
