Winter traditions
The Pulse will be on hiatus during the winter break, returning Jan. 2. We’ll close out the year with festive fun!
WINTER TRADITIONS
A few members of the NEOMED community shared some favorite holiday photos and traditions.
From Deb Edwards, M.Ed., curriculum coordinator, Department of Medical Education
“My festive four foots….Jack, Cash and Lucy.”

[note, Deb admits it took two cups of treats to make them all look at the camera at the same time.]
From Aeriole Connor, administrative specialist, College of Medicine
“We had a Friendsmas Grinchmas party last weekend!”

From Julia Colecchi
“My mom typically buys all of us matching shirts to take a LARGE family pic (this was last year). I have three siblings and 10 nieces and nephews.”

And not to be outdone by Deb, Julia also shared a festive photo of her pets, Lincoln (the big dog) and Jackson (the small dog) in front of the tree.

If you’d like to share some favorite winter traditions with The Pulse for the new year, send a photo and a brief caption to thepulse@neomed.edu.
NEOMED traditions
Nothing says nothing winter holidays like hot cocoa… and ugly sweaters! The NEOMED community got together to enjoy both things on Dec. 12.
Afterward, we asked our social media followers to vote for the best (or ugliest) sweater. With more than half of the 88 votes cast, the winner is Eugene Mowad, M.D., senior associate dean in the College of the Medicine. A career highlight, we’re sure!

Faculty and staff “jingled and mingled” at the annual holiday brunch on Dec. 7. Check out the photo gallery below. And see more pics on our Facebook page.
