World AIDS Day Awareness Event

The Infectious Disease Interest Group will host World AIDS Day in the Watanakunakorn Auditorium and atrium on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, from noon to 2 p.m.

The event is co-hosted with the following student organizations: American Pharmacists Association, Industry Pharmacists Organization , Medical Student Pride Alliance , Affecting Social Justice in Medicine and the Global Health Interest Group.

Bernard J.C. Macatangay, M.D., associate professor of medicine and co-director of the Immunology Specialty Lab at the University of Pittsburgh, will present on his HIV research. Dr. Macatangay's remarks will be followed by a panel with Q&A.

There will be a reverse raffle for all attendees, food for up to the first 60 people who check in, and more surprises. Please come and enjoy the festivities of this event. We hope to see you there!
