The NEOMED College of Medicine Residency provides students with an opportunity to network and to learn more about various specialties and programs.

Tips to help you network successfully:

  • Bring a copy of your CV and business cards.
  • Dress professionally and wear your white coat.
  • Use FREIDA to research the hospitals and residency programs beforehand.
  • Review the Elevator Speech Basics PowerPoint located on the Career Center AIMS site.
  • Log on to Careers in Medicine and read about informational interviewing under Choose Your Specialty/Explore Options/Gather Information

Dinner will be provided to those that RSVP. Those that are interested can also sign up to assist with tear-down from 7-7:30 p.m., where they will get a one-on-one networking opportunity with residency program directors, coordinators, residents, and medical education personnel from various hospitals. Students that sign up for tear-down will assist the residency program representatives with tearing down their booth and packing their materials.
