Join us for the 2020 Chatrchai Watanakunakorn, M.D., Lectureship in Medicine, Effective Programs and Strategies to address HIV Infections in Special Populations. This lecture will focus on African-Americans and LGBTQ population.

Dr. Virginia D. Banks, M.D. is an infectious disease specialist in Youngstown, Ohio and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Vibra Hospital of Mahoning Valley and Select Specialty Hospital-Youngstown. She received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 40 years.
Recently recognized by the Board of Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) for her outstanding accomplishments in the clinical practice of infectious diseases, Dr. Banks is the 2019 Watanakunakorn Clinician Award recipient.
