September is nationally recognized as Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. The Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health will kick off the 2021-22 Webinar Series with a training What it is like to Lose Someone to Suicide: Promoting Hope and Resilience in Suicide Loss Survivors, Sept. 23 at 12 p.m., presented by Rebecca Prather, MSW, LISW-S, Summit County Suicide Prevention Coalition.
The OPCSMH is a resource center promoting suicide prevention, mental health awareness and stigma reduction activities at college campuses across the state of Ohio.
