Announcing the Fall Employee Empowered Workshop series

NEOMED’s Employee Empowered Excellence (EEE) Workshop series is back this fall with new opportunities for employees to build skills, connect with colleagues and support continuous improvement across the University.

The first fall workshops include:

Psychological Safety in the Workplace

Tuesday, Sept. 29, from noon-1 p.m. (Hybrid Session)

Led by Dr. Richard Wardrop, this session will explore how psychological safety supports open communication, collaboration and stronger workplace environments.

Banner 9.0 Training

Thursday, Oct. 8, from 2-3 p.m. (In-Person Only)
Monday, Nov. 9, from 1-2 p.m. (Hybrid Session)

Designed to support employees as NEOMED transitions to Banner 9.0. This training, led by Marilyn Ward, will provide practical guidance and resources to help users navigate the updated system.

Foundations of Process Improvement: Lean Six Sigma White Belt

Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 1-2:30 p.m. (Hybrid Session + Asynchronous Learning)

Facilitated by the Operational Excellence team, this workshop will introduce employees to the fundamentals of Lean Six Sigma and practical ways to identify opportunities, reduce inefficiencies and improve everyday processes and problem-solving. This is a great session for those who have not completed Yellow Belt training or for those who would like a refresher on Lean Six Sigma.
