Apply to be a Student Mentor for NEOMED's Health Careers Bootcamp this summer
Are you interested in making a difference for the next generation of healthcare professionals?
The Area Health Education Center (AHEC) is seeking NEOMED Student Mentors to support the Health Careers Bootcamp Program, a 4-day summer program introducing undergraduate students to healthcare careers through hands-on learning and mentorship. Student Mentors will facilitate a small group of 10 participants, assist with laboratories and patient simulations, and serve as role models while sharing insight into healthcare career pathways at NEOMED. This role offers valuable mentorship, teaching and leadership experience.
Dates: Monday, June 22 – Thursday, June 25 (3 nights)
Stipend: $600 (meals included)
Housing: Overnight accommodations provided at Kent State University residence halls
Students interested in daytime-only support or nighttime RA-style supervision may also inquire about alternate ways to assist.
