Ash Wednesday Mass, March 1

What is Ash Wednesday? For Catholics, this marks the beginning of Lent: a 40-day period of penance, reflection, and fasting in preparation for Easter. Catholics everywhere are united by the cross of ashes on the forehead, symbolizing our penance.

The Association of Catholic Medical Students (ACMS) would like to invite students, staff, faculty, and all in the NEOMED community to Ash Wednesday Mass on Wednesday, March 1, from noon to 1 p.m. in Great Hall Side A. Mass will include distribution of ashes.

We hope you will join us as we begin our Lenten journey for 2017!
