Assertiveness Workshop, Oct. 16

The ability to speak up for oneself, without aggression, is one of the unspoken keys to being successful and gaining influence. Assertive communication supports you in reaching goals, solving problems, having tough conversations, and managing conflict. It also builds esteem and reduces stress. This interactive two hour workshop will introduce the foundation of assertiveness, discuss the common blocks to being assertive and will provide tips for using assertive behaviors.

Presented by Angela Dash, Ph.D., PCC, NEOMED Ombuds.
