Azerbaijan Delegates Visit NEOMED

Five delegates from Azerbaijan visited NEOMED on Jan. 24 to learn about academic and research programming. Arranged by Global Ties Akron, the group was in Ohio for a week to learn about the response to the COVID-19 pandemic from area public health departments, hospitals, city council members and academic institutions.

Victor Torres, Angelo DeLucia and Amy Lee met with the physicians and public health professionals to provide information on NEOMED's international programming, COVID-19 research and public health degree.
