As NEOMED has grown over the years, so too has the volume of information we use. The ability for each us to meet the needs of our academic, administrative, and research communities is facilitated, in large part, by using accurate and timely information. Unfortunately, in an increasingly information-based and technology-based world, there are a variety of challenges that come with it. Securing our information is a critical component of cybersecurity and understanding NEOMED’s records management processes is important to securing the University’s information.
If you were at the University last year, you may have seen information in The Pulse about our Records Management policy and updates to our Records Retention Schedule. Since then we have created a Records Management website that provides abroad overview of our Records Management program, our Records Retention Schedule, answers to frequently asked questions, and much more.
