Bench-press event will support breast cancer foundation
Join the NEOMED Lifting Club from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Sequoia Wellness for our second annual Bench Press for Breast Cancer event! We will be raising awareness and support for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. All students, staff and community members are welcome to register on Campus Groups.
Registration is $10 and includes a T-shirt, raffle ticket and option to compete. Participants will be split into competition groups based on weight and sex, with winners of each group receiving a certificate. You can also come and learn how to bench from one of the Lifting Club members. Raffle tickets are available for purchase for $5. Raffle prizes include a free, two-night stay at a cabin, a 100% off coupon for any product under $250 from www.rockybrands.com and a winter coat from Woolly Bear Outerwear.
