Better Health in partnership with Akron Children's Hospital and Summit County Public Health announces the first Summit County Learning Collaborative on Nov. 14 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Summit County Public Health. The learning collaborative will feature Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro and Akron Mayor Dan Horrigan. They will discuss how health and health equity consistently play a role in their leadership strategies for a vibrant community. Additional sessions include presentations on the Hub Pathways model, the Opiate Taskforce, use of public data and geographic information systems (GIS), health care workforce development, and Better Health Partnership updates.
