Celebrate Arbor Day April 27 with a Free Seedling

While we have been waiting patiently (or impatiently) for the weather to turn, we all know it’s only a matter of time before spring truly arrives with its spectacular array of color. As flowers bloom and trees grow new leaves, it’s a great time to reflect on the importance of healthy trees and how they can positively impact the health of a community.

In honor of Arbor Day, a holiday that encourages people to plant trees, NEOMED will be handing out 100 tree and shrub seedlings—free! The seedlings will be available to both the NEOMED community as well as the general public, and will include pine, maple, spruces, tulip trees and dogwoods. Seedlings will be available April 27, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the atrium of the NEW Center. The event is first-come, first-served.

This event is sponsored by the Tree Campus USA committee, which promotes the addition and maintenance of healthy trees on the NEOMED campus.
