Researchers and entrepreneurs are invited to come together to discuss commercializing research and forming a company at the second in a series of monthly forums entitled "How to Start a Life Science Company." The forum will be held Thursday, Nov. 30 from noon - 1 p.m. in RGE 123 A/B. Elliot Reed, Entrepreneur-in-Residence and REDIzone program manager, will present an overview of the formation of a company, including selecting a CEO and advisors, creating a team and fundraising. The focus of the discussion this month is "The Operations."
Open discussion, questions and flow of ideas are encouraged. Participants may also bring their own lunch to the forum.
