Join WKSU for a special free community event at the Akron-Summit County Public Library Main Auditorium on Wednesday, June 27. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a Mental Health Fair with regional service organizations and features a community forum at 7 p.m., presented in conjunction with the WKSU News Series Navigating the Path to Mental Health.
WKSU reporters and experts, including Sara Dugan, Pharm.D., associate professor of pharmacy practice and psychiatry, will discuss the stigma surrounding mental health issues and challenges to finding and maintaining mental health care in Northeast Ohio. The presentation will be followed by an audience Q&A.
