Free, Walk-In COVID-19 Testing at NEOMED Thursday, Dec. 17

President Langell encourages all to take advantage of the free COVID-19 testing that will be available from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17. No health care provider referral is necessary. Pre-registration is suggested, to save time.

Here’s the message that was distributed by the Office of the President Tuesday, Dec. 15.:

To all NEOMED Students, Faculty and Staff:

On Thursday, Dec. 17, we are offering free COVID-19 pop-up “walk-in only” testing to all members of the NEOMED community as a "know before you go" testing opportunity prior to the two-week holiday break.

The testing, which is also open to the general public, is for individuals with or without symptoms. Individuals of any age may be tested but those under 18 will need the signed consent of a parent or guardian.

Time and place

Testing will be conducted by Visit Healthcare from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Bitonte Atrium (located just inside the former Ralph Regula Conference Center entrance).

Registration

There is no health care provider referral needed. Pre-registration is highly recommended prior to arrival at the testing site in order to save time. Go to visit-healthcare.com/ and click on “Schedule Your Visit.” For those without internet or smartphone access, Visit Healthcare team members will be available to assist with lab forms on-site.

We encourage everyone to take advantage of this pre-holiday testing opportunity!

Sincerely,

John T. Langell

President
