Healing Hearts in Haiti, Oct. 11

Healing Hearts in Haiti will be held on Oct. 11 from noon - 1 p.m. in room F-118. 

Event Description: 

What is global health? Why is it important? What could I possibly do about it? These questions and more will be discussed at Healing Hearts in Haiti presentation. Panelists will also talk about Gift of Life International, whose goal is to provide care for children with heart defects and diseases through heart missions. Learn more about Gift of Life and the incredible work being done within global health organizations to address health care for the underserved at the presentation.

Panelists will include NEOMED Alumni Dr. Brittany Potts, Ken Fogle from Gift of Life Northeast Ohio, NEOMED’s David Kuhajda, and a pediatrician from Akron Children’s Hospital.
